A word from our CEO
As the leaves turn here (and spring arrives for our friends down under), I’ve been reflecting on how much this community means to us. For more than 40 years, you’ve trusted iMedia to help keep your stations on air, and that trust drives everything we build.
To everyone rolling out new shows and seasonal specials this fall, good luck with your fall programming. We’re here if you need a hand getting your schedule just right.
This season, we’re also taking one of our biggest steps yet with iMediaAI. I can’t wait to show it to you, and if you’re heading to WABE in Vancouver this October, I hope you’ll come say hello.
Thank you for being part of the iMedia family.
-Alex

Introducing iMediaAI: Intelligent Voice and Content Automation for Broadcasters
At iMedia Software, we have spent more than 40 years helping radio stations run smarter, from the first days of iMediaTouch to today’s visual radio with iMediaCam. We are now preparing the launch of our next step: iMediaAI.
iMediaAI brings artificial intelligence into the heart of your daily broadcast workflow. It writes, voices, schedules, and delivers content automatically, so your team can focus on what listeners actually tune in for.
What iMediaAI does
1. Voice cloning that sounds like you
Record a few seconds of your own voice, or your presenter’s voice, and iMediaAI builds a natural, realistic digital version of it. It captures tone, pacing, and emotion, and it gets more accurate the more you use it. Your station keeps its familiar sound, even in dayparts nobody is live.
2. Content that writes itself
iMediaAI automatically creates scripts for recurring segments: news updates, weather, horoscopes, community announcements, cultural capsules, and more. It can draw from the open web or from professional news feeds, and you decide which topics are allowed and which are off limits. You stay in full editorial control.
3. Scheduling on autopilot
Once a segment is created, iMediaAI can schedule it by time slot, duration, or frequency. Content refreshes in real time, so your 6 AM news summary is always current, and your weekly features never go stale.
4. Works with your existing setup
iMediaAI is designed to plug into your current environment, whether you run iMediaTouch or another automation system. Generated audio and metadata arrive ready for playout, fully traceable.
Why it matters for your station
- Do more with the same team. Fill overnights, weekends, and local updates without adding staff or overtime.
- Stay local and relevant. Deliver fresh, local-sounding content around the clock.
- Keep your identity. Your voices, your topics, your rules.
- Rights built in. Voice use is backed by consent and contracts with talent, so cloned voices stay compliant.
- Pay for what you use. A flexible monthly credit model lets you scale up or down with your needs.
Be among the first
We are opening early access ahead of the official launch. Want a demo or to join the first group of stations using iMediaAI? Reply to this email or contact us at sales@imedia.software or 1-888-665-0501.
iMediaAI. Your voice. Your content. Always on air.
You Asked, We Answered: Subscriptions Are Here
You asked for subscriptions, and we listened. Over the past couple of months, we’ve started offering subscription plans, and they’ve been steadily growing in popularity with stations.
If you’re interested, please contact our sales team. We’d be happy to walk you through the options and find the right fit for your station.
iMedia Is Growing! 🚀
An Update on Our US Location
Last month, we shared our plans for a US location, and we’re happy to report we’re getting closer to that goal. It’s all about making billing easier for our American clients.
Once it’s in place, American clients will be billed through our US office. Canadian clients will continue to be billed in Canada through our Canadian office, so nothing changes there. We’ll share more as we reach the finish line.

Congratulations, 107.7 The Bronc!
Huge congratulations to our friends at Rider University’s 107.7 The Bronc on their nomination for the 2026 NAB Marconi Radio Award for College Radio Station of the Year. It’s their record sixth nomination in seven years! The winner will be announced October 20 in New York, and we’ll be cheering loudly for the students and GM John Mozes.
Your Favourite Post This Month
You loved this Flashback Friday: a broadcast control room running on a Zephyr audio codec and dual CRT monitors. Nothing says “on air” quite like the glow of a CRT. How many of you worked with a setup like this?
